Regardless of the scoring models within each version, why do I have the feeling that there's a lot more than just these two being a justifiable factor (the ultimate decision maker of who you are if you will) that make up our overall credit scores and credit worthiness? Can anyone shed some more light on this?
Credit decisions many times are computer generated and FICO scores have a lot to do with the overall formula. Income is a small factor as long as it justifies extending credit, but credit history, payment history, available credit and credit management are important, these factors are a part of creating a credit score and FICO is used in almost all lending, VS not so much.
