FICO score not showing updated information

Hi, my credit was impacted last year by a wrong public derrogatory record. I disputed it and by september 5, just a few weeks after the dispute was filed, we received the "Notice to vacate tax warrant and release lien" for that public record. I submitted that document to all credit bureaus to speed up the process and to make sure that the erase it from my report. I obtainerd my credit report from all of them and it was clean, but still as of today, about 5 months latter, still shows up in some FICO redict score provided by some credit card issuers (Barclaycard, Discover). They say to use updated Transunion report information, but i have requested all along this months my report from Transunion, i have spoken to them on the phone and the report is clean. Why is this happening? Is there a way to dispute this? I get the same FICO report provided by other credit card issuers and it comes up clean.... Thank you in advance

Re: FICO score not showing updated information

It has to still be on the reports if a FICO score is considering it.  Any scoring model uses the data in a report to generate the score.

What, specifically, do the scoring reasons form Barclaycard and Discover state?

Which creditors?  Which CRA's are those FICO's based on?

Re: FICO score not showing updated information

Both Barclays and Discover say to be based on myTransUnion credit report using the FICO® Score 8.  On the other hand Capital one claim to use same Transunion and it comes out clean, same as AMEX. I have been getting from Transunion my credit report every month since september, and the public record is not posted anymore, in fact I have spoken with at least 3 Transunion reps including a manager, and they say nor the record is posted, neither they see that it was ever posted. I found it posted just at Equifax but we subbmited the court vacate warrnt and they deleted it within 24 hours (that was back in september and we got the report of the deletion)

Re: FICO score not showing updated information

This is what Discover states:

Your credit report shows a derogatory public record (such as a bankruptcy, foreclosure, civil judgement or tax lien) or collection which is generally more risky to lenders. Note: A satisfied public record or paid collection will remain on your credit report for 7-10 years.

This is what Barclays states:

  1.  Derogatory public record or collection filed

Consumers may have negative information other than delinquencies (falling behind on payments) and charge-offs (loan defaults) on their credit files. This information could include tax liens, civil judgments, collection accounts or settlements of accounts, for example. While these customers may not have been delinquent on their loan records, this information is predictive of future payment risk.
