Well this was a first. Usually when I get a new account it doesn't report until after the first statement cuts (usually a month or 2 after opening).
The other day (the 4th exactly) when I got approved for my Synchrony CareCredit account I was expecting the same reporting timeline.
To my surprise today (just 2 days later) it was showing on my Experian credit report. That's the fastest ever out of the 12 revolvers I have hitting the credit report.
Is this standard for Synchrony?
I only have one other Synchrony account but that is a HSN card that was originally Comenity that changed over to Synchrony.
Either way it was good to see and knocked down my util by 7%.
As usual Transunion and Equifax are behind in updating. (Probably will see the change in 4-7 days).
Congratulations on that. 7% less utilization is always good!
Usually, when I've gotten new accounts, they have reported rather quickly. My mortgage took about a month, though.
The hard inquiries associated with the new accounts report either immediately, or the next day
That's pretty standard for some lenders.
Citi, Synchrony, and Comenity (just to name a few) will typically start reporting within days of opening an account.
I was approved for a USAA Visa card, then within 5 days, it showed on my EX report, not TU or EQ yet.

This.

Barclays wastes no time reporting also.
