Fico Score Update Question

I need to get a student loan.- I was carrying a high debt-credit ration. Now I've got it fixed and down to a nice healthy level. - I want the beaureaus to take a look at it before the end of the month! - I need to apply for the loan as quickly as possible.- Is there a way to get their attention faster.-

I was thinking that if I bought scores directly from the companies themselves that they will look at my most recent information.- Does it work that way?

Or will they just look at the last reported information?-

Thanks

Robert!

Re: Fico Score Update Question

CRA's look at the last reported information from each creditor.

Each of your accounts will report to the CRA's on their own schedule.  It's typically on the statement date (HSBC reports the account balance for the last business day of the month, but they report it a week or two later).

Can you look at the statements for your accounts and see if you can determine the statement date?  (Not the due date)

Let us know what you find.  Also, if you list the companies, we can tell you how good they are about reporting to the CRA's.

Congrats, btw, on your good work paying things down.
