Fico Score

So I am gathering that my FICO score is my true credit score that all lenders look at? Not the ones given by freecreditreport.com and true credit?

Re: Fico Score

The ones from here are indeed real, while the others are "fake"... worked well for me since 2 of the 3 here were higher than truecredit reported anyways.  They're all still bad but I'll take what I can get lol!

Re: Fico Score

The scores you see here on myfico.com are as close to the ones your creditors will pull as anything. You see a consumer score, but they see what is known as an "enhanced" score, so it is a little different than what you pay for. Good luck to you, and those scores will go up in short order - just follow the advice of the posters here!

Re: Fico Score

Start by asking questions and don't be afraid!  Do you have any collections you need help with?  That can make a big difference by getting those deleted.

My dh's scores raised by 105 in one month thanks to MyFico board information!

The scores that you get here from myfico.com are FICO scores. Most, about 90% of, lenders use FICO. Auto dealers use "auto-enhanced" FICOs and some CCCs use enhanced FICOs, as well. The scores will be exactly the same if a bank, CU or mortgage lender pulled your FICO as the ones from myfico.com.
