Fico score

We just signed up to view my wifes Fico score, and it was 642,we applied for a pre approval last month for a home loan, the loan officer said her credit score wasn't high enough that it was 606.Im not sure if she meant fico score or just plain jane credit score. My question is, is the FICO score usually higher than the 3 beurea's credit scores or right inline with them? Also does viewing your own FICO score hurt your credit? Or does viewing your credit reports on sites like credit karma.com hurt your score? The credit karma site said her credit score was 680..Im not even sure what the minimum score we need is.I think we are applying for a FHA loan, and from what I gather on the internet 620 is the minimum..But not sure.

Also does viewing your own FICO score hurt your credit? No....Or does viewing your credit reports on sites like credit karma.com hurt your score? No creditkarma is just good to alert you to any changes to your TU report.... The credit karma site said her credit score was 680..FAKO score pay it no attention....Im not even sure what the minimum score we need is.I think we are applying for a FHA loan, and from what I gather on the internet 620 is the minimum..But not sure.correct but the higher you can get the scores the better the terms of the loan....Good luck

Before you app think...
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?
