First SW Alert, got a question.

Hi everybody. I got my first scorewatch alert today, and although my score remains unchanged I did have a status change. On one of my cards, the status went from:

Closed or Paid Account/Zero Balance
Account closed by credit grantor

to

Closed or Paid Account/Zero Balance
Charge

I did send a GW letter asking to remove some lates but scorewatch doesn't show me if they removed them or not.  Does anybody know what this means? It was not a charge-off, I am hoping that is not what is meant by that.

I hate to pull a report to see whats going on but just may have to. In addition to the above, when I look back at the original credit report I pulled before the alert It stated Account Closed at Granter'ss Request in the notes but the Account Status field said open.

Any ideas?

I wouldn't pull a report quite yet especially if there was no score change, give people some more time to respond to you, it doesn't sound like a CO because I'd assume your score would have dropped, but I'm not familiar with SW (yet)

You are definitely right. I will hold off pulling a report. No need to waste my free one on something that didn't change my score. I just wish I was sure it didn't mean charge-off.

I had another alert on a balance increase as well. It sucks that the payment I made to them clears tomorrow (for the full balance) and they must have reported the 9th. LOL. I missed it by a day or two. Just my luck.
