Oh wow... It must be personal then, from your tone...sorry if i offended you.
@Anonymous wrote:I have a question...Why does everyone want a high credit limit??? I see people saying they have credit limits of $15000 or more on one card but need higher limits...Is it the flex? But if it is, who are you flexing on? Also, don't tell me you do investments with the money because if that was the case, you should have had a capitol by now to invest that or you would be using the Platinum or business cards... Also isn't it the objective to pay your card off every month...so if you have a $15,000 a month debt..then you shouldn't be asking for a higher limit..the credit cards banks would have seen that you are paying them back every month and given you a higher limit.. Just asking to understand...It's not personal
Was it flex that made you apply for your 10+ credit cards?
@Anonymous wrote:That is true but then why post it if no justification is needed.
It's a credit forum. You post any and everything related to credit. Limits are posted as part of approvals - usually along with profile data points and a brief of the experience. Such posts allow us to gain insight into the behaviors of most lenders -- which actually serves as very useful research when you are considering applying for credit with a specific lender. We also congratulate one another and soothe credit egos when necessary.
I'm not understanding what your gripe is... ?

I'd imagine it's a lack of high limits to share 🤷🏻♂️

Going to have to update my question. Was it flex that made you apply for your 29 accounts? I guess we all want higher limits so we don't need 29 accounts.
Utilization
Emergencies
Account Adjustments
DON'T WORK FOR CREDIT CARDS ... MAKE CREDIT CARDS WORK FOR YOU!
Some cards grow on their own.
I wish I didn't have to flex in the gym to get my muscles to grow as well as my cards.
My Capital One card is now only a 10K limit card. $700 spend in one month is 7% utilization. 2k or 4k spend in one month on one card on occasion is not unusual for me. I'm glad my cards have higher limits to keep utilization reasonable when that happens. Normal spend shouldn't ding your credit. Bad payment habits should ding your credit.
(F)ind out here how to get
(l)arger limits on almost
(e)very card you have by maintaining
e(x)cellent credi over a long period of time by always paying on time. That's one of the keys to getting large limits.
Good luck.

It Is! I haven't used it since I moved to the states back in 1697.
