I'm new here but keep getting lost in a sea of acronyms. Is there already a thread listing the main ones? If not could we please start one here and maybe make it a sticky?

The use of excessive acronyms seems to be a common habit on credit forums. It does make them frustrating to people who don't read them every day.
I can't figure out why <shift> "DW" </shift> is any easier to type than "wife", for example, but that's what people like to do. Eventually you do get used to it and things get easier to read.
I think people don't realize they're doing it, as I often see alphabet soup get posted in response to questions from new users.

I like to have another tab open when I'm reading here, and have the acronyms thread showing on it.
