i havent really searched but is there a list on here of every moderator's likes and dislikes as well as myfico forum rules? i have seen several posts being edited lately....including mine....i guess i need to start limiting myself to the 'credit in the news section' and just read about the current issues.

Not talking about you specifically, but one violation we're tightening up on are "smart-aleck" posts disparaging other posters for not paying a bill or otherwise being imperfect. Things along the lines of, "Well, if you weren't lazy, your bills would have been paid, it's your fault so tough luck" or "hey, you were late, what do you expect?" type remarks. These posts often come across as arrogant and insensitive, since there's usually little regard for why a bill may have went unpaid (illness, layoff, etc.).

It's safe to say that darn near everyone has neglected a bill from time to time. Most of us know we need to be more conscientous on financial matters, save more money, lose a few pounds, work more hours, suffer a little more and enjoy life a little less, et cetera and so on and so forth. There's no need to rub anyone's nose in their mistakes.

I think we all need to stop and smell the tulips a lot MORE, not less.

As for suffering, I just lived through 6 weeks of hell when a doctor made an incorrect prognosis for my BF.  I wouldn't wish that even on a CA employee.  Well, then again ...
