Experian put an FA on my file because of the various addresses on file that are not mine.Obviously, I disputed them.
I tried to pull my reports via True Credit and cannot access them....I called TC and found out that I cannot access reports because EX put the FA alert on, which means I will not be able to access the file.
Now since I cannot access TC, does this mean that I won't receive SW alerts and or updates from EQ? I don't think I have any FA alerts on EQ...I cannot remember if I disputed addresses with EQ...
This temporarily stinks.... I am waiting for the very last collection to fall off!
If you have a recent copy of your Experian report there should be a file number listed. You can go to www.experian.com/disputes to access your report whenever you want for 90 days.
I access my report everyday with the same file number I received back in May. I'm suprise its not expired yet.
You can do the same for Equifax.

When you re-access your CR, are you getting the same one you originally got, or are you seeing an updated one?
You get a real time credit report each time. If you access it you will see today's date. If you access it tomorrow, you will see tomorrow's date. EQ and EX allow you to access your reports 24/7 as long as you have the file number for Ex and confirmation number for EQ.
TU set a limit on how many time you can access your reports.

Thanks DI for the info...I didn't know that about EX and EQ once you have a dispute number...I thought it was the same report and just showed the status....I can't pull True Credit now so that stinks...
You get updated information daily and throughout the day which is part of the dispute process. The key is having the confirmation number or file number. TU allows you to do that same, but it limits (3) how many times you can access the reports. YOu can still get a new one if you supsect adverse info is still on your TU report.
