Fraud Alerts can affect current creditors?

I have read a couple of posts about how some creditors view Fraud Alerts as potential reason for taking AA. I did not know this.

Here's a question - what if you always had the FA, from the time you applied to currently? Would that have less impact?

All of my  new cards and loans that I have rec'd in the last six months have always had the FA on the all the reports. It is nothing new, didn't happen after the fact.

Just curious...

any input is always appreciated.

I never heard that a FA would cause AA.  Do you have a link to the post that mentioned that?

Thanks!

I have an Active Duty Alert on my file which is sort of like a one-year Fraud Alert.  Never had any AA and if all of a sudden I do I'd be mighty upset.
