No credit card required
Browse credit cards from a variety of issuers to see if there's a better card for you.
If you think this is helpful, feel free to reply with a data point.
Below is a link to a spreadsheet listing the companies that provide free credit scores and their frequency - FICO and VS.
Click here for the Google Sheet link.
After searching on this forum for free credit scores, I gathered some preliminary data, but found some threads are years old and dp's have changed.
If adding a data point, please provide:
Company Name =
Frequency =
Score Version =
CRA =
Weblink = (would be nice, but not required)
Notes:
- items highlighted in yellow are dp's I need, so feel free to reply with those if you have them.
- I'll try to add weblinks to the exact page that mentions a free credit score, if available.
- Like most people, I have a day job, so I'll update the Google Sheet when I can.
Thanks.
Great list!
the tu fico bank card 9 provided by commerce bank is every three months.
Discover is a monthly TU FICO8 (Barclays was the same when I had one of their cards a few years ago)
Chase is a weekly EX VS3

I have 2 Discos so I get my score twice a month, (on the 7th & the 20th - 'though, of course, those are the dates they pull but it takes 4-7 days after the pull before you actually see the score).

Yes, the Discover scores don't appear for me until after my statement cuts even though the pull date is about a week earlier.
Langley FCU provides Eq FICO9 monthly.
NFCU Flagship (Daily 2% + Travel) | USAA Rewards (AoOA = 26y)
Aven Rewards (Groceries) | Chase Prime (Amazon) | Citi Custom Cash (Dining) | Elan MCP (Utilities)

On the Radar: Langley | Kroger | AmEx | Discover
Thanks for putting this together. It would be helpful to identify which ones are available to anyone and which ones require having a bank or CC account. Nerdwallet.com and Wallethub.com both provide TU VS3. Those are open to all, as is Experian, myFICO, CK, and Equifax. I think Capital 1 Creditwise might be too. AFAIK, the rest are available to account holders only.
Edit: Credit.com provides Ex VS3 for free or paid access to all FICO scores similar to myFICO and Experian.
