Friend having issues contacting customer service.. suggestions?

When he tries calling the the customer service #, it takes him to this odd recording where you have to leave a message to get called back.  Anyone else have any problems?  We are located overseas.  I've ordered from here in the past and haven't had issues but we just can't seem to get through to a real person.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks!!!

From what you wrote I'm going to guess that you are trying to contact MyFICO customer service. Am I right? I'm not having a problem so maybe it's because you are calling from overseas. MyFICO mods can you help??

Well! Since that's settled(thank you), at the top of the page, see the menu bar? Click on Support.

It gives a telephone number. Be aware that they are experiencing very heavy call volumes.

The alternate way of contacting them is to e-mail them. There's a link(in Support) under "E-Mail" that you can push and send them a message.

Yes that is correct, my friend here is trying to contact MyFico customer service so he can confirm his identity.  When we try calling the toll free number, it goes to some 'first advantage' or something like that phone number then to a recording.  I'm not sure what the deal is.  Any good phone numbers to talk to an actual person?

Yeah we tried that number and just got the odd recording.  It didn't even say anything about MyFico.  I'm sure they won't call an overseas number so I'm not sure how to get ahold of them.  An e-mail probably wouldn't help since he is trying to confirm his identity.

But if you email them and explain what happens when you call the number, maybe they will give you a different one to call or be able to help you somehow online.  Give it a shot.  You will probably get further than you are right  now.

The return e-mail might not solve the problem, but perhaps when given the details, they can provide you with a direct number you can call and talk to a live person.

I'd suggest re-posting your delima, and questions in detail in the "FICO Forums Feedback" section of the forum. This really belongs there anyway.

you might try email and explain what you are trying to do. Ask for a fax #....this way you can fax the proper ID
