This has been posted (and moved) numerous times today...

Although you were correct and the threads did get merged, I'm glad at least 2 others that didn't know about it, Now know about it because of my thread =P!

Thank you for this post.  I had no idea of this.  This is the only section I visit, so if the moderators had moved, carelessly as usual, oher threads I would have never seen it.

To be brutally blunt: that is not our problem.

This site is organized for individuals to be able to find information in a coherent fashion, and as such certain topics which have been in particular boards for years (such as anything Credit Monitoring related, which CK emminently qualifies for, in General Credit), will continue to be consolidated as such.

I honestly have no problem with members who simply want to take part in a specific portion of the forum and forgo the information elsewhere: I myself pretty much frequented Credit Cards and Auto Loans to the exclusion of most other boards during my first several months here, and I virtually never read Student Loans (even as a moderator) because it simply has no relevance on my life.  There are other credit-related forums which leave pretty much everything in one big generic pool, and while their post volume is smaller than ours, it is also very unwieldy and they've started splitting it up as well for common topics.  For that matter, virtually EVERY forum I've ever participated in with my near 20 years online, has been organized in such a fashion with similar moderation policies... or the other common approach, simply locking off-topic posts with an admonishment to go post in the correct section.

Every individual can opt in or out of the forums as they wish, and only have to peruse the things they're interested in and there's no harm nor foul either way, but snide remarks about the volunteer moderators are neither appropriate nor warranted in this circumstance.

Eh it is ok and I use it for that but they are still not reporting like 2 of my accounts while my TU report does already

They just started this service today and how can you say you use it? Did you mean you "used" it?

I think they were talking about the credit monitoring part, which has been there all along.

Re: Credit Karma

I wanted to print my full credit report, but when I sign on to the Credit Karma site, the "Dashboard" page appears and there is no link to the new credit report.

Here is how I found the report:

Move the mouse pointer on top of "My Finances" at top of the screen.

A menu appears with several choices. Click on "Full Credit Report."

In the top left corner, click on "Printer-friendly version."

For inquiries, something I really LOVE is that it tells you the date it falls off your report!!

Something to keep in mind is that inquiries stay on your report for two years, but they only affect your credit score for one year.

Credit Karma Steps Up Their Game

As many members are aware, CK used to offer members the ability to update their CK Profile and score with unlimited usage. Many were disgruntled when CK disabled that ability. It looks like they made a comeback. Members now have the ability to check their credit reports FREE. Updated scores and profile are performed weekly. The credit reports are interesting, and the info is derived from TransUnion. To access the beta feature, once logged in, hover over 'My Finance' in the upper menu, click on 'Credit Reports-Beta.' It is there one can access many dated past reports that date back to membership establishment. I love Credit Karma again. Smiley Wink

Consolidating all the posts into this one to keep things focused rather than scattered.  Been an ongoing process, and figured you'd find it here rather than leaving yet another post moved blurb, my apologies on not leaving the breadcrumb.
