GW hasn't worked with HSBC

I haven't had any luck with HSBC after sending GW letters for the following baddies on the same account  (closed):

Nov 2005  - 30 days late

Dec 2005 - 60 days late

Jan 2006 -  90 days late

Feb 2006 - 120 days late

Mar 2006 - 120 days late

TU, EX and EQ are reporting correctly as 1 x 30 days late, 1 x 60 days late and 3 x 90 days late.

I will continue to send GW letters but if they aren't going to budge then I'm going to have to wait this out until 2013.

Will these late payments now have less of a negative impact on my score as I am starting to move 2 years past them?

HSBC is very hard to GW.  However, I have seen a post or two that it has worked on.  Continue to GW them while using your PlanetFeedback options.  I would also try to get in touch with someone in corporate to tell my story to.

Also it is true the older the account gets, the less of an impact the bads will have.  With all things constant, you should roll into 700 territory within several months (my opinion).

Busy................don't give up. Wait 45-60 days and send another GW. Keep doing that. You'll eventually get a sympathetic csr.

Yes. But the 90-day lates hurt more....and longer.
