GW letter help

Hi everyone! 

I have a medical collection that I pif last month($355.00)  I paid it before I knew about PFD.  It was originally sent to CA in 09/06...I paid it in 11/07...will this be considered a15 mo. old collection or a one month old collection?  For a mortgage approval I can't have any baddies for 12 months.  Also, I want to try a GW letter, but I can't seem to find where I saw a sample one on here.

One more quick question......I also saw fax ph. #'s for all 3 CRA's (for disputing) and I can't find where I saw those...can someone please update me on the current Fax #'s for the CRA's?

BTW...over the last 2 months I have seen my scores jump from mid 500's to mid 600's by paying down util (97% to 35%)and doing disputes!!!  Next month..I plan on going from 35% to 2% util and hope to see at least another 20+ score increase!!  YEA, for this website and all its brilliant members!!!   Now, if I could only get this one last baddie removed!

When you paid the CA you did restart your CRTP which is 7-7.5 years.

A GW letter might work; it couldn't hurt to try.  Examples of GW letters is in the Frequently requested threads.

As far as, fax numbers, do a search (e.g. type "fax numbers" in the above search box) and see what comes up and just use the most recent fax numbers that are posted.

CRTP?  I didn't see that one in the common abbrev?  Also, what is a MOV?  I saw it posted many times and can't find its meaning.

I am going to do a GW and pray for the best...again...thanks for your help!!

CRTP is credit reporting time period (which is 7-7.5 years).

MOV is method of verification.  Look in the frequently requested threads.
