Getting started on reparing score

Need some help.....my sister is trying to  recover from a divorce...credit score is a casualty too...

scores range from 612-642...

1  She has an "unknown collection" from 2006 for $35.00 ...states still unpaid - can anything be done to remove this?

2.  Has a total of 6  "over 30 days late" marks...from 4 different accounts...dating from 12/5 - 3 /07...all good since then....

Any advice  or is this a waiting game for her?

If she doesn't know who the OC is for the unknown collection she needs to DV it.  Go to the Frequently Requested Threads to learn more but everyone will give you plenty of guidance on letters.  For the lates, she needs to send out GW letters to those.  There are so many great GW letter examples on here, as well as DV examples. 

She can do it.  I have seen so many people on here get the most amazing things deleted from their reports!  It is very motivating.  You will get great guidance from this site.  I know that I am.
