Gettington free monthly FICOS® Score 8 for Experian!

Just an FYI for anyone who finds this exciting—Gettington now offers free monthly credit score updates using the FICO® Score 8 model for Experian! Smiley Surprised I logged in to my Gettington account this morning and noticed that it didn't say 'Equifax' anymore, which is awesome because I receive the free monthly FICO® Score 8 for Equifax from another creditor, and NOW, I receive all three major scores for FREE.99!! Smiley Very Happy

Now all they have to do is commit to a refresh date, because sometimes the monthly update takes a month and a half. Smiley Frustrated

Nice, may I ask, where do you get your monthly EQ08 score from?

Re: Gettington free monthly FICOS® Score 8 for Experian!

I am also curious to hear where our OP gets his free EQ FICO 8 Classic.  The only place I know of that gives one is Langley FCU (hat tip to SouthJ).

Most people who have a free EQ FICO get it from Citi, though that it is actually a FICO 8 BankCard Enhanced.

Fingerhut was giving the free Equifax FICO 8 many months ago. I knew as soon as I closed my Fingerhut, they started offering that free score though having it update was a pain, seems always a month or 2 slow. Fingerhut and Gettington I believe are from same bank , Web Bank

Re: Gettington free monthly FICOS® Score 8 for Experian!

Major brain fart, I sincerely apologize, I was mistaken. Gettington was the creditor I received the free Equifax FiCO Score 8 from, last update I had was for May 2018—they simply swapped Equifax out for Experian, not a bad thing, I just wish we could have all three, sans the struggle :-(

Side note—the FICO 8 Bankcard scoring model sucks, I’m all set with Credit Karma (which also kinda sucks), nothing to see here lol
