It was PIF before it went to the internal Friedman Jeweler's collections back in 2003, but had been 120 days past due. AND was showing as paid after charge-off, $$ written off, which was totally not true. I did pay it very late, but I paid the entire balance due. I know because it was such a huge argument between me & the ex 
I was afraid to touch it with a GW or anything because it was so close to falling off, so I just disputed it as incorrect info reporting.. did it through Experian online. They deleted it!
