My adice to you. You can use all the money they're charging you and get a secure card with capotal one. Use only 20% of limit (no more than 30%) so if your limit $1000 only use $200 - 300 a month. Pay your bill either... half of total in 2wks or full amount before by due date. Keep this up for 7mos to a year. And your credit score will go up as well as your credit limit. And repeat with higher score. Dont really need an authorized user....unless u have a family member that will add u to their mortgage or loan account. Good luck

BTW, You cannot be added to an installment loan. The only way you can be added to an installment loan is if at the time the account has been opened and it were a joint account(i.e. co-signer)

What groovi PROBABLY mean was being added as an AU to a revolving account. Which has been suggested in earlier posts.

Take the advice that has been suggested and you can turn this thing around in no time.
