I got one of those, too, and I know nobody's going to preapprove me for anything yet, not with a 3-month AAoA.

Strangely I did receive a Penfed $25,000@ 6.49% pre-approved check in the mail today as well.

I wish I had one of those pre-approved $25K checks, or indeed any pre-approved offers. I've been waiting in vain for a year now since I got my PCR Visa through preapproval, and used up a HP on a failed CLI attempt (and failed recon) several weeks ago...

Do you have any other products of theirs? My brother has been a member for two years now.
The last time he was in the market to buy a vehicle. I talked him into joining Penfed. He got a auto loan and one card through them. He now has the SP offers in his web interface. That's with derogs on his file. I'm clueless at to what exactly Penfed looks for when sending out the SP pre-approvals.
Hopefully you'll see them soon.
