On myFICO it states under credit reports "An inquiry indicates when a business, usually a lender, has checked your credit. The inquiries listed here are the number of times in the 12 months prior to the date of this report that a lender has checked your credit at TransUnion."
Does this mean that lenders only see 1 year back on HP's?
The reason I'm asking is because on my FULL credit report I have more HP than it goes back..Also does that mean HP only factors into your score for 1 year and then they are just on your report for another year?
Please Reply THANKS!!!
Lenders will see the INQ for two years but the FICO score will ignore it after 1 year.
ETA: 2 years of INQ's will show on all reports you pull for yourself as well.
Hard Inquiries affect your credit score for 12 months, but will remain on your report for a full 24 months.

Fico Hooooo
How long do inquiries stay on my credit report?
Inquiries remain on your credit report for two years, although FICO® scores only consider inquiries from the last 12 months. FICO scores do a good job of distinguishing between a search for many new credit accounts and rate shopping for one new account.
Thanks wish I would have found that earlier not look like a complete idiot!!
Thanks anyway!!
