CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP???????? I am an AU on a friend's CC, had her (the primary account holder) request that I be removed. She made the request around the first week of January. I waited a while then disputed it with EQ (not reporting on other CRs), but noticed that the name of the CCC on the myfico report and on the regular report were different - which resulted in a 3 day completed investigation. Long story short: reivestigated again, EQ has verified that the account is mine!!!!!!!!!?????????? What NOW????? Need it OFF ASAP!!!

Check your report and confirm that on the responsibility line it states Authorized User and not joint. When you dispute your status as an AU, the CRBs almost always delete the TL immediately without question.
Just remember that if you dispute it yourself and ever want to be added back in the future, the CRB won't report you.
Hey thanks for commenting! But yes, it does say authorized user on the responsibility line. The credit card is a Midwest Financial Credit Union which is located in Michigan. She went directly to them in January and had them remove my name! I just dont understand how EQ verified that the account belongs to me!!?? I never used the card and dont even have one nor know the full account number! I spoke with my friend and she will go to them again to verify that my name was removed? Are there any specific forms or cant she get that in writing from them?
Don't dispute online; actually call the credit bureau(s) and tell them you are listed as an authorized user and you dont want to be. It should be that simple, they cannot keep you on the report if you are an AU.
Did that! That's exactly how I got them to do a reinvestigation. Disputed over the phone and told her that I was listed as an AU, gave her the name of the primary card holder and told her that my name should have been removed in January.
