HP from Wells Fargo when opened a business checking account

So, I was reviewing my EXP credit report and noticed that WF made a HP on my report. When I look at the day of the HP, I was in there with three other directors for a not for profit corporation. I already have a checking and savings account with WF and the person who set up the account for us never informed us that he would be making a HP. I want to call and complain and tell them to remove the HP because it was not authorized.  When I opened my personal account, there was a SP, so why would they do a HP on a business account?

Section 604 of the FCRA defines permissible purposes for obtaining consumer reports that do not require additional, express authorication from the consumer.

Banks have permissible purpose as being a business transaction intitiated by a consumer wher review of the consumer's report has a legitimate business purpose.

It appears to be a legitimate inquiry.

It might, howeve, be challenged on the basis of it being a business, as opposed to personal or family, trarnsaction.

Consumer reporting agencies are for personal consumer information, not business.

Thanks for this info and that is why I was puzzzled because if it was for my personal account which they only did a SP why would they do one for the company account since there was no personal guaranty for anything and we had an EIN number for the business.  Should I contact WF first and the guy who did the account or just dispute it through EXP?
