HSBC

I have two flawless account with HSBC, and one that has been late. The two accounts were delete by the credit EX and TU. I inquired to HSBC and asked for explanation, they said that they deleted it from their database, and that is why it was deleted by the CRA.

The third account remains Smiley Sad

Has this happen to anyone of you guys? Why would HSBC delete a good account in their record?

Re: HSBC

Call them back and ask them WHY was it deleted to begin with!

Grrrrrr, I know how upsetting that must be for you.

Call and demand(nicely) to talk to a senior account specialist. Don't take no for an answer.

Oh! If that have happened to me, I'd be on that like a frog on a junebug!

Sorry to hear it happened. Please do keep us informed.

Re: HSBC

It is very hard to argue to a representative who sounds like from India or Pakistan and who would lecture me about the credit scoring system.

I asked that they put it back (nicely) and she insisted that a GOOD ACCOUNT thats closed, will not help me. I just shut my mouth and listen to her lecture while I am watching YouTube videos.

When she was done, I said, "ok, thanks"

She wants me to contact the CRA to put them back. Sigh. I guess I just lost my TWO FLAWLESS HSBC PAYMENT HISTORY.

Re: HSBC

If you have reports with the accounts on them - send a copy to the CRAs and  ask them to put it back on because it was removed in error.

When dealing with HSBC - ask to speak with a supervisor - you usually end up back in the states.

Re: HSBC

I understand your frustrations. But we still don't know the explanation WHY they closed your account in the first place. That might help us formulate better suggestions.
