If there are inquiries for the same thing over at least 14 days , and up to 45 days (e.g., a mortgage, a car),  all "hard" inquiries are counted as 1 "hard" inquiry.  The ding from your credit score would probably be less than 10 points.

I hope the OP realized, throught these six months, that, even with a 692 score, one can get a decent-rate car loan.  That's considered Tier 2 credit.

 

You don't need the Buy Here/Pay Here crapola places.

Agreed. I can remember several threads in the BMW thread about people with lower scores being approved!
