DCU finally updated today for April 30 balances, took them long enough. Hope we won't have to wait till June ending for May 31 balances

how funny (not really) that i've literally checked my report every.single.day just to see if dcu updated my bal and cl and the 1 day that i just say "forget it. it's going to take them forever", i didn't check it and they actually update it. lol. i got a 7-point score increase after they updated. thank you so much for posting this!
on a side note, i tt them yesterday about a few things, including this, and a rep may have let something slip. she first told me that they report around the 15th of the month. after she tt someone else in a diff dept, she said something closer to what we've all been thinking, that they report at the end of the month. i've always found it odd that they're the only creditor of mine that take weeks to update. i wonder if they actually report around the 15th. others report next day or w/in a few days of their info being sent.

Well, consider yourself lucky, did you call & complain to get it updated? DCU is still reporting my car loan balance from end of March. Not really a biggie now, but my August payment will finally get my loan to <49% of original loan amount, so if they don't update it I will call and complain - I'm *bleeped* tired of seeing that "Loan Balances Too High!!!!!!" on my Fico scores. ![]()
They did report to EX for me, but TU and EQ have not been updated.....and they did also report to Innovis because I just viewed my report online.

My understanding from my research on here and feedback from DCU was that +-15th of every month was pretty standard but I guess not. I put in a couple thousand on my refi auto loan to get it well above 10% paid and it paid off big time, 16points boost. I have not gotten back the 30-40 points I lost due to adding 4 accounts last month but just 9 points shy of it, so it was well worth the wait.
Just wish they were more consistent and predictable.

Yeah, know that feeling.
I actually didn't call specifically for that purpose but had mentioned it in passing and the response was that everyone has to wait for the group reporting that they do monthly for all accounts. Guess they are pretty cheap in that regard when compared to the likes of Disco or Chase.

congrats on those new accts and the point increase, and thanks for the dp about point loss/regain...i added about 7 new accts in a month last year and my score dropped a lot. it took about 3 months for my score to rebound, so maybe your score will increase some more in a few months after your accts age. congrats again!
