yep... charged $7.00 and then when I called they had the nerve to tell me that I was pre-approved for another card with them. I want to get rid of them but my credit scores are to low right to shop for a better card to their place.

Premier Bank is the worst I have seen. They will do anything to harass you and get your money. They charged me and help my funds too. Chanduwar

Re: Has First Premier done this to you.

I know First Premier seems as though it's high way robbery, it is.  But in some situations (such as mine) beggars can't be choosers so a gallzon dollars later here I am today.

I started with a 300.00 UNSECURED credit limit.  (which is better than a secured one) and paid each and every fee they gave.  I worked my tushy off and made my way up to a whole 550.00 credit limit 3 years later...WOOO HOOO

BUT I applied and recieved a WAMU card this week with a 2500.00 CL.  So ask me if all those fees were worth it today and my reply would be...

Re: Has First Premier done this to you.

November 2006 - I felt lucky to get a FP card.  Fees and all... I promised myself I would 'use'  it as much as it was using me - closed  it in Oct 2007 . In one year I got Exxon HD, JCP, Cap1, Citgo, Citibank, HSBC, BB-MC, Target, Chevron and HSN.... lots of INQs but some nice cards I can let age out.

Set a GOAL

USE it - rather than it only using you.

Get rid of it as soon as it has served its purpose (right after it reports for the 12th month) before the next AF hits.
