Has anyone been able to get thier hands on a RAW coded CR from EX, EQ or TU?

I want to see what FICO looks at. The real CR deal. I am sure many of you would be interested in this too. Has anyone been able to get the raw source data on any credit report file. One that contains all the coding to show differences between CF, installments, revolving, ect. Or is this secret well, still secret? It can't be too hard to get right? I don't have access to it, how about any of you?

Re: Has anyone been able to get thier hands on a RAW coded CR from EX, EQ or TU?

Working in a bank I have seen many "hard copy" EQ reports, but have not quite figured out how to decipher them all, but I do know the difference between some of the codes for good (L1--I think) and bad (R9--I think) haha.

When I first started training at the bank they even sent a rep from Equifax and she could not (or would not) explain all the mumbo jumbo on the reports.

Seriously, they look like Star Wars language or something.

Somewhere around here (my desk and office are a wreck), I have all the reason codes for why one doesn't reach fico perfection. To my recollection, there were about 50 of them or so.

What exactly are you looking for Pizza?

Even though a CO is an R9 and a repo is an R8, don't be fooled they are equally bad as far as FICO scoring is concerned. Maybe, just maybe the CRAs consider the former worse...but I really don't know.

Hey Fused, I recall that there used to be a section for voluntary repossession--I6 maybe? Ring a bell? It has been some years since I have seen that on a CR.

My guess is it doesn't matter if it's voluntary or not, it's still a repo. Much like a collection, paid or unpaid, FICO scoring still punishes it equally.
