So I have been on the phone with Equifax for the past 4.5 hrs..apparently the EQ Reps couldn't get me to access any of my report info or FICO scores - even after submitting a purchase for it... then I tried getting my report thru purchasing the report on here (MyFico) and they couldn't do anything either. MyFico Rep suggested to call EQ directly to see if they have a freeze on my info and so far I'm on the 3rd transfer
So now I can't access nothing reg. EQ info
Sorry to vent but after dealing with 10 people on why I can't access my own info and they not understanding because they don't speak proper English and they're located somewhere in the middle east of the world.. all they tell me is that "They're Confused"... Can you believe it?! I can't even access my own information and the agencies that supposedly hold the info can't figure out why either.. but they too can't get the info to share with me..
Ohh.. did I mention I had to change my profile on MyFico as well?? I no longer have the other profile because they said there were 2 profiles from back in 2004 and I needed to use this one so now I'm not sure if all the postings under the other name will get merged if not I'm starting from scratch
God! this was suppose to be a good day.. I think I've had enough of it.. I feel seriously drained from everything.. AND I feel a headache coming on.
That sucks; while I'm not surprised it wasn't accessible here if it wasn't directly from EQ, what did the EQ reps suggest was the problem?
If you're failing some identity verification check, I'd go old school and get a paper report and then use that report to get back into the online interface; if it's something else unfortunately you're likely stuck dealing with EQ reps. That said they're normally not that bad in my experience, what time of day did you call? Perhaps try again early morning if they're using a follow-the-sun support model?
Try pulling it free via CreditKarma.com . The score shown isn't a FICO, so don't put to much stock into that. However, if CK can pull your EQ report, then it could be you're failing some verification question elsewhere. Another option, especially if seeking an EQ FICO 8 score, is signing up for a $1 trial at CreditCheckTotal.com
Regardless, assuming you can get CK, CCT, etc, of where you pull your EQ report, look carefully for any decrepencies.
Thanks for the input... according to the representatives.. which I spoke to a number of times.. I've verified everything correctly.. When I go into the dispute page to "initiate" a dispute to be able to pull up my current info it says

But when I go into the section to check the status of previous disputes - and input a previous confirmation # and ss # and so forth.. It does bring me the list of the past reports etc..
I also have CCT and CK seems to be able to pull up the information fine.. but as we all know CK is not really a FICO score and on the other hand.. I wanted a way to see my "soft pulls" and on the Equifax Plat. Shield Membership it only provides the Hard Inquiries :/
I am thru working with EQ directly the representatives with all due respect are truly stupid and incompetent.. not to mention that they're English completely sucks and I don't think I can handle one more of them in my life... The last one even got all upset and had the displeased audacity to get upset and yell at me "WHY DO YOU NEED YOUR SOFT INQ. IF THEY DON'T AFFECT YOUR SCORE".. What at.. &*#*@%@ Ughh.. God these people are driving me to drink... :/
Is your Equifax report frozen? Any fraud alerts? Presumably not, but asking for completeness.
Do you currently have active EQ disputes in progress? If yes, are any identity related?
Another possibility is failing on-line verification, in particular, the several out of wallet questions, within the past couple of weeks. If yes, wait a few weeks and retry. Alternatively, order via postal mail, though that may take just as long.
Has anyone in your household experienced identity theft or other related credit issues recently?

CCT is, CK is not (Vantage) which was what was referenced. Similar acronyms.
I'm having similar issues with EQ !
I can get the report via CK, CCT but if I try them , directly, its a no go ! They always say I do not answer correctly, send in ( snail mail) DL and copy of SS card !
Can't even get it on annualcreditreport.com .
