Heard from Bank of America

Concerning the $2 shortage from ClearPoint.  They refuse to do a 'good-will' and remove the lates even though it's the fault of ClearPoint Financial.

ClearPointFinancial's response:  I'm sorry about that!

I'm so mad....now I'm thinking settlement with BOA...they once offered me 50%...thoughts?????

Right now owed is $5800

Re: Heard from Bank of America

This account is in my name with dh as au.  I've asked to have him deleted.  Will the CB erase this?  What happens at this point?  THANK YEW VERY MUCH!

Re: Heard from Bank of America

If he is deleted that should remove the AU TL from his CBRs.  If it doesn't, dispute it off.

But before you do that I would not give up if this is your first GW with BOA.  See if you can use the board search functions to find any higher ups to send the GW too.  Also consider complaining on planet feedback (google that).

I think it's really cruddy of BoA unless they sent you a standard cover their arse GW denial letter and intend to GW anyway.

Re: Heard from Bank of America

I called them again and no-go...they're holding firm.

I'm happy that dh is going to lose this from his report...should boost his scores up.  I'm more concerned with his than mine since he's the major earner.

So a $5800 debit with BOA gets removed from his cr...that's got to be a good thing.....
