I pulled a credit report about a week ago and today I signed up for the free trial for myFico.
I found out that my credit score was 575 
So, I starting the paper game of tring toget something fixed and I was wanting to know what you all thought.. or if I am going the right way or if I should do something else.
My Equifax reported that I have $11,360.00 in Installment credit.
$ 8,219.00 Revolning
Number of open accounts: 6
All accounts current
Inquires in last 12 months 7
No account negative history.
1 Account in collections

Ok, here is where the fun starts..
A. I sent a letter to one of the revolving accounts because I should not be on the account, this is my wifes credit card and she called and had me removed from the account last week... so I wrote to have this account removed from my credit file.. that will take off 1500.00 and 1 revolving account.
B. The collection account was back in 2003 and this company says I owe them 130.00, at the time I disputed this account,.. did not hear anything from them, then they sent this to a collection agency,.. I disputed it with them, and now another collection agency is calling me and I have sent a letter to them today to request a copy of the dept and a copy of the license that they can collect in the state of Iowa. I also told them if they can not come up with this info, to remove any bad feedback on my credit report.
C. I had 7 inquires on my file as well, 4 of them, I have no clue who they are... so I wrote a letter to have them send me a copy of the credit app along with a copy of my signature that I requested them to pull my credit file. If they can not show that I did sign for this,.. then I asked them to remove the inquiries.

Ok now myFico report shows that:
Payment history is: Good
Amount of Dept: Bad
Length of credit histroy: Not good
Amount of new credit: Good
So by me sending in the above,.. should this help my score? If they remove the 1 account, that will drop my dept. and I hope the inquires would be removed and if I can get the collection account removed or in dispute...
