I received a message that my score dropped by 7 points. Supposedly, Verizon had a judgement against me for an account I still owe 232.00 on. However, it is stating that my Experian dropped by 7 points, not Equifax that is on this site.
Upon calling Verizon credit reporting department, they have no knowledge of the judgement, and upon calling Equifax they also do not have knowledge of this happening??????
What is going on???????????? Anybody have this happen before? What would I do about it???
I did manage my debt. I just received a PFD letter from them and I contacted them to let them know I would be making that payment on my payday. They were most appreciative of the phone call.
This must be an error. No CA has any knowledge of a judgement on my credit report, nor does Verizon have any knowledge of why the account would be listed like that. They did not add this to my file.
I kind of believe them because I have paid off all the debt I owed them with the exception to this account. I have kept in contact with them and followed through impecibly with the arrangements in the past for the other accounts. They were most appreciative on the phone.

I'm confused. Experian doesn't give alerts via myFICO. Experian isn't a team player with FICO. The only alerts you'll ever receive is via ScoreWatch for EQ only, if you are subscribed to it.
Did you pull your EQ and EX reports from anywhere to see if it is reporting?
BTW, I don't know where the 7 pts came from, but a new PR would drop your FICO score a whole lot more than 7 points.
That one first got me when I first came here.

Oh, and if you're looking at old reports, TRW became Experian, so TRW does not equal TransUnion.![]()
