help, back in (96) i had a repo, (credit now) atlantic acceptance corp. i took then to small claims court, but i didnt show up,opps. not sure what happen at court, but a few months later my wages were garnished. about two months after the garnishment i moved to south carolina. this all started in maine. so, from (97) to (2004) i lived in south carolina. i moved back to maine in 2005. i checked my credit report from 2005 till now. that car was never on there i guess. around 10-15-2007 its on my credit report as, charged off as bad debt. open in 96. date closed 10-2007. profit and loss write off. date to be removed 08-2012. now, on my fico it said it was old, an should be removed, so i disputed it, it came back verified. ???? well, what i learned was that the credit b, goes by the frist time i missed a payment, back in 96. the repo people have it on there records that it was in 2005? what? the car was repo in 96? the repo people are changing dates? i called them (repo) an they said there not changing anything back. i want to sue these jack-a... i just want it to go a way, please help. in maine the sol is 6 years, or 20 years if it is in front of a witness? please help.
