I pulled my free reports today and managed to get the Experian one online which I printed.
TransUnion had a glitch in their system so I called and talked to a representative and he is going to have one mailed out to me today or tomorrow.
Equifax gave me this though:
"We're sorry, for your protection we are unable to deliver your FACT Act Equifax Free Annual Credit Report on the internet. There are a number of reasons that we may be unable to fulfill your request online. You may have a Security Freeze on your credit file, an Active Duty Military or Fraud Alert, or the identification information submitted online may not match the information on file.
To request your Free Equifax Credit Report by mail, please fill out the attached form (PDF file), along with the documents described below, and mail them to:"
The verification questions says that I might have a mortgage loan opened on Sept 2008 or something like that which is bogus so I answer that I don't have one and then it gives me that "We're sorry" message. I tried calling Equifax but it just keeps telling me I need to purchase a credit report. Is there any other way I can get a hold of someone at Equifax to find out why my credit file might be frozen with them? Thanks for any and all help.
