There's a good chance that this is a display fluke. In other words, you see it on the screen, or when you print your reports, but it's only used once for scoring. Like you said, EQ is your highest score.
TU keeps displaying my util wrong, much higher than it really is, but it doesn't seem to be reflected in my TU score. I think that there are some flukey things that happen on the myFICO screens, and maybe this is one of them!
