How Is AMEX on CL increases?

Not at all. Amex can be very generous with credit limits assuming you treat them well.

From what I hear others report, AMEX is among the most generous with CLIs.

I called Amex today and raised my limit from 6,000 to 25,000...without ever having to speak with a person. My original credit limit was 2,000 and will one call last year, they raised it to 6,000 (I talked to someone that time). In my opinion, Amex is the best on CL increases. -Nick

How long should you have the card ..of course in good standing...before you can ask for an increase?

I've heard AMEX is a great card to have...and, not coincidentally, you have to have a credit rating nearly as good as that of Satan Himself to obtain an AMEX card.

I would think Satan wouldn't be able to handle CC utilization and would carry a high number.

My guess is Satan carries a First Premier card.
