Amex is not reporting a public record/collection. They are providing you with FICO reason statements that are factors adversely impacting your score. If such an item is on your EX credit report, the reason statement you were seeing is generated and displayed for you. It's important that this has absolutely nothing to do with Amex; their provided score/reason statements are only based on what data is found on your EX report at that given moment in time.
