How can I find out when I'm being sp'ed by a creditor.

Please can anyone tell me how to find out if I'm being sp'ed. I hear so many people in this forum saying they see when creditor perform a soft pull on them. I am currently signed up to the myfico score watch will that help me see that? Thank you

No, Myifco doesn't monitor SPs. {Edited-MarineVietVet, myFICO moderator} Officially you can get them from annualcreditreport.

The definition of a soft pull is that it is only viewable by the consumer, not any other party.

Thus, it requires a specialy generated report with mechanism to vary contents based on who is pulling the report..  Commercial vendors dont invest the time and effort to produce two types of reports requried along with the mechanism necessary to ensure that a report with soft pulls is not made availablt to anyone other than the consumer.

The stie at annualcreditreport.com is, by definition, accessible only be a consumer to view their own report.

Thus, it is tailored to meet the statutory requirment of one free report ot a consumer each year.

You can also pull reports directly from each CRA (not via their monitoring services though).
