It is more complicated than this link. I alredy froze my report last year. Last week to help US Bank to upgrade my account I requested EX to lift the freeze for 1 week. Now that is done I am trying to freeze my report ( or remove the lift TU words) and I keep going to the link and submit the request. But it keeps coming back I already have a freeze on my account. But it is not removing the temporary lift on freeze. I have 2 hard inqs and no way to remove the temporary lift. In essence my report is unprotected now and any one can access it. But in EX terms it is already frozen but does not give me a way to remove the temporary lift. I tried to call EX and no human picks up the phone at the given number, This is insane.
