How can I increase my fico score 6 pts for refin.

Hello, everyone,

I am looking for serious advice I went for refinancing at the beginning of this month only to find out that I need 6 points to secure the refinancing ...funny thing is that's to reach a credit score of 600. Any advice would be helpful I currently have a car loan, mortgage, personal loan, student loans and a credit card. Now, here's the task is there anything I can do to obtain 6 points in 2 weeks time?

Thanks for the help in advance

well, I would say that if your credit cards had balances on them you could pay the balance way down and it might boost you 6 points but that wouldn't report until next month though.

If you have a single credit card and are able to do it financially, report a balance of 3% or under on your next statement. That won't be reported to the bureaus until after the statement posts though.

Are any of your accounts about to have birthdays soon?

Just one twist on what the others have posted. Get that CC balance to report under 9% and then you can try for rapid rescore, if you need to get approved right away. Rapid Rescore is going to cost about $35 or so.

My car note is due on the 10th of this month but i paid the note on the 5th of this month. All my other debts are due at the end of the month.

You can still pay the CC earlier than the due date to get it to report a low balance. The installment accounts do not really matter for rapid rescore. What is your current util on the CC?

I've heard a little about rapid rescore that will benefit me with the debts that I have paid just recently right?

Rapid rescore is typically only going to work on your CC debt. That's because you will see little to no movement for paying an installment-type loan on time from month to month.

What is your current CC balance and the CL on the CC?

My cl is small $300, there was just a payment due on the 4th of this month. I charged $99 on it but I paid that off before the due date.Currently,I owe $15 on it.

If that CC charges fees or charges you to pay online, then I would pay a lot more to cover that. And if you can delay the financing by a short while, then I bet you'll see an increase if you were to add 1-2 other cards, or at least a store charge card. I started at 0 CCs last August and saw large gains when I added my first 3 CCs, with one being a charge CC.
