How do CRAs verify PR?

What process or service do CRAs use to verify Public Records? I know they do not have any direct contact with the courthouses.

My FC PR is not listed on a search through ChoicePoint/ChoiceTrust.

Do they use Innovis? Other PR databases?

I have heard they use E-Oscar. From what I understand if you do this all by the book, since the way they verify is borderline illegal, some publics records can be removed.

Thanks. Yes, E-Oscar makes sense, guess maybe Lexis-Nexis too?

Waiting for the hard copies from the courthouse. After I review them I may even be able to get the PR vacated. Then I can try to get it off my CR. Would be good to know for sure how they validate.

Usually Public Records do not get reported by anyone at the courthouse. There are 3rd party companies that do this, although the CRAs do not tell you that!

Yep. Wonder how they respond to a MOV?

Mine is gone from 2 and will age off the remaining one in a year but I may try the vacating route if it looks possible.
