How do I dispute without paying for new reports.

I got an alert from Privacy Matters today and it looks like some company bought out the company I had my car loan with. I paid off the loan in October with no late payments. The original company reported it as PIF with no lates. In mid Jan my score dropped with no apparent reason. I figured the new FICO rules went into effect. When I looked at my Privacy matters report today I see an entry for Americredit showing as a car loan with the same payment amount as the loan I paid off in Oct, with a 30 day late in Jan! It shows as a closed account with only one month for payment history.

I pulled all of my free reports back in Sept. I'd like to dispute these entries but when I go to the CB websites I need a current report (that shows the Americredit entry) to dispute.

What should I do?

None of these links do you need to pay for a report-
The TU and EX will provide reports-
