How do I find out who my collectors are?

Im 23 yrs old and just did a credit score and its a 566. I have no loans only two late payments, but there are 4 collections out in my name for outstanding amounts that I have no recollection of. Some of them date back to when i was 18 yrs old and had no money or credit card to begin with. My fico report doest not include any info on my collectors.

You need to buy your full reports from the CRAs directly to get the contact info.

Or if you haven't gotten your free credit report from each CRA this year you are entitled to 1 free report per CRA.

Try using your 1 of your free ones first so you can get some idea what's on there and then use this forum for help.

Re: How do I find out who my collectors are?

I was able to use TrueCredit and they have a nice section that list out all CA's and addresses from them. I just purchased my TU score from them (you can get all 3) then all of the collections were on the one credit report. Beware, they are FAKO scores though, but seems to be a good way to monitor scores also. I wouldn't have found it though if it wasnt for all of the good advice on this forum. Good luck!
