If your account is so new that no statement date is showing online, you can use the Chat Feature (as I did) or call and ask when your official statement close date will be. You'll see here this new account isn't showing a date yet but I called and asked so now I know. After that timeframe of about the 2nd statement as mentioned upthread, they are quick to report the statement balance usually within 48 hours of the statement closing.
If you have the app, it shows you closing right at the top of transactions. Closing is the date that your total balance will report and thereafter a statement will follow. I would not purchase until after new statement cuts. I hope this helps.
