How does Dell acct affect scoring

I currently have zero balances (just done this month and want to stay that way for a while) on cc's in my name but do have an open Dell accountwith a balance.  Other half currently only has one cc in their name, PIF almost every month (but it does show balances on reports) and also has a Dell acct wih a balance in their name.

Do I need to use a cc as long as I have a blance on my Dell acct?

Is your Dell account revolving or installment?

Hold on a minute and let me see how it's reporting.

Both report as revolving.

I plan on having both of these paid off by middle of July, but also will be using cc in July for vacation (PIF when the cc statement arrives).

If it is revolving, then only have it report is ok. As long as your util is not 0%, but ideally below 9%.

FANTASTIC.  After Dell is paid we will always have at least one card show a balance and it WILL be below 10@.  Next is to pay off car loan.

Thanks so much for your help.
