How does it normally take for experian to receive a credit report from Experian via mail?

I'm helping my sister fix her credit. Her identity couldn't be verified online so I had her call experian to have them send her a credit report. I think it's been about 3 weeks and she still hasn't received a copy of her credit report. Is this normal?

Here is what I am thinking. Identity theft is a major problem today. As a result the credit bureaus have taken extra measures to protect the consumer, being your sister, and themselves against identity thieves. Here is what you will have to do.

Have her send in the following copies of documents.

driver's license-must have her current address printed on the front by her state's drivers license division. If she has changed and moved the new address can not be hand written on the back.

utiltiy bill-be be the most current & recent, and her name has to be on it.

bank or credit union statment

paycheck stub-most recent

Experian Credit Bureau

P.O. Box 9556

Allen, TX   75013-9556

or you can try www.annualcreditreport.com

Try the www.annualcreditreprot.com and if thta does not work then mail in the documents.

My mother requested her Experian credit report to be delivered by mail, and it seemed to take a very long time.  If I recall correctly, it arrived at least 3 weeks after her initial telephone request.  Was your sister requesting her free annual credit report?
