How long does it take for your balances to report?

I paid two capital one cards off, $0. Statement closed 10/18. How long will it take for it to report. I checked my previous FICO notifications and it would update by the 20-22nd of the month. I'm just very anxious to see how much this will help my score as I'm trying to purchase a home. Seems like good reporting takes forever, and negative reporting happens overnight.

Good luck with them. I paid two Capital One cards down to $0 this month as well, statements cut on the 12th for one and the 13th for the other. STILL waiting....

So odd because this isn't the first time i've paid them to a $0 balance and it usually reports pretty fast. Now that it's grind time for me, nothing is happening!! lol

@Anonymous @CashBackQueen if you only have the 2 cards. paying all your accounts off will take points away. Need at least one to report $10. Cap1 will update 2-3 days after statement date. Not when you pay it to 0. Chase does that.

I have another card which I plan on letting it report a very small amount. Any other time I have paid off my Capital One card's to $0, it's reported 2-3 days after the closing date. So i guess i just have to give it time.

Mine hasn't reported either.  The statement close date is the 14th.   Here it is the 23rd and nothing on Experian.   To my recall, that has never happened before with Capital One.  It has always been within just a few days that it reports as far as my credit cards.

Open Credit Cards:
Green Dot Primor Secured (5/18) - $450 CL (CLOSED 2/2020)
Capital One Platinum (8/18) PC to Quicksilver (9/19) - $3800 CL

Merrick Bank DYL VISA - No AF (6/19) - $1400 CL
Discover it Cash Back (9/19) - $2800 CL
Amazon Prime Store Card (4/20) - $10,000 CL
NFCU cashRewards (4/20) - $4500 CL
BB&T Spectrum Cash Rewards (5/20) - $3500 CL
Navy Federal More Rewards American Express® Card (3/21) - $9700 SL - at 9.65 %.

Varies by lender. My Discover and FNBO Credit Cards reported in one day.
