How long for response to GW letter?

I wrote my letter to Navy Army FCU about a month ago...requested a removal of 30 day late.  It happened right after I left the Navy and didn't receive my statement because of change in address (I know, excuses, excuses, blah blah blah).  But really, I had three other loans with them and NEVER another late.
 
Anyway, how long should I wait to hear their decision?  Should I follow up with a phone call?

Sometimes you will not get a response and it just shows up on your CR.  I would wait for about 30 days and if you don't hear anything send another GW letter.

Patience is a virtue, huh?  I pulled my CR yesterday and my 30 day late is gone from EX & EQ...looks like TU hasn't updated yet.
